Biogenesis
What is Biogenesis
- Biogenesis is a theory that came from Louis Pasteur stating that only living organisms come from other pre-existing organisms by reproduction, and that you cannot make new organisms from dead or lifeless matter.
Pasteur experiment
- Put broth full of microorganisms in a flask
- Boil the broth to where it kills all organisms in it
- Put a S shaped tube onto the flask so nothing can get in or out
- Wait a year and see what happens to the organisms
- Take the S shaped tube of
- Observe all organisms that have came back.
Reflection
- After doing research I did not really find anything that I did not know already. The only thing I learned from doing research was how Pasteur tested his hypothesis by doing experiments. The experiment does not seem to difficult but i'm sure it was back when it took place. The steps are very simple and I have them labeled above.

You did a great job on presenting the basics on biogenesis. I believe you are smart, But if you knew more about this I would have went a little deeper in depth. Plus with your reflection instead of Putting " I have the steps labeled above". I would have put that some where closer to the Pasteur Experiment steps.
