Homeostasis
Main Idea:
Homeostasis literally means "Same State" and it is the balance of things like Ph, temperature, hydration and salinity in the body. Homeostasis is what keeps people and cells alive and healthy and it is a constant, ongoing process.

How it can be applied:
Since homeostasis affects the human body as well as that of animals it can is essential to understand things from our reaction to illness and treat sickness better in people and pets.
